Founded in 2020 to address a gap in the local market, we cater to a diverse clientele including farmers, mine contractors, Eskom contractors, and private individuals.

Sandblasting: We specialise in both on-site and yard sandblasting of light and heavy equipment, ensuring thorough cleaning and preparation for various applications.
Fencing: Our fencing services encompass a wide range of options including razor wire, flat wrap, Clearview, de-fence, barbwire, and palisade, providing comprehensive security solutions tailored to our clients' needs.
Trailer Manufacturing: From cattle trailers to flatbed trailers and water bowsers, we manufacture a diverse range of trailers to meet various transportation needs with durability and reliability.
Earthmoving Equipment Repairs: We offer comprehensive repair services for earthmoving equipment, including welding and fitting of fish plates to cracked excavator booms, repairs to oscillation boxes and bins, and replacement of bucket tip adaptors, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.
Welding and Gouging: Our welding capabilities cover MIG, TIG, and MMA processes for stainless steel, aluminium, cast iron, and mild/carbon steel. With a mobile welding machine, we provide on-site repair services even in areas without electricity. Additionally, we offer electrode and air arc gouging services for precise metal removal and preparation.
Tanks Manufacturing: We design and manufacture a range of free-standing steel tanks for diesel and water storage, customised to meet client specifications and requirements.
Rolling: Our rolling services include the shaping of plates, square tubing, flat bars, angle iron, rectangular tubing, and round tubing to desired specifications, ensuring precise and accurate results for various applications.
Manufacturing: We specialise in manufacturing low-pressure air and liquid pipelines, steel structures, staircases, walkways, trench covers, manhole covers, safety handrails, gates, gas cages, burglar proofing, large movable steel diesel tank bund walls, trolleys, custom braais, and decorative steelwork. Additionally, we provide pipe and steel threading services.
Steel Structures: From carports and steel sheds to walkway covers and water tank stands, we design, manufacture, and erect a variety of steel structures to meet diverse needs.
Container Conversions: We convert standard 6m and 12m containers into guard houses, change rooms, offices, and various other functional spaces, providing cost-effective and versatile solutions.
Installations: Our installation services include electric and solar-powered gate motors, electric magnet door locks, and other security enhancements to ensure seamless operation and enhanced safety.
General Steelwork: We offer a comprehensive range of general steel fabrication, erection, and modification services to meet various construction and industrial needs.
Civil Works: Our civil works services include concrete walkway and driveway casting, core drilling through concrete walls and floors, and installation of precast walls to enhance infrastructure and aesthetics.
Farming Equipment: We specialise in manufacturing lamb cages, sheep clamps, cattle handling frames, dip baths, bale rings, movable animal loading ramps, and provide repair services for farming equipment, catering to the agricultural sector's diverse requirements.
Meet Our Directors
Jason Strydom
With certifications as a Certified International Welding Specialist and a Level 1 Welding Inspector, Jason brings extensive experience to Jascon Steel Works. For over five years, he has been involved in training and testing both single and double coded welders. Additionally, he has spent four years overseeing all welding and quality control aspects, both on-site and in fabrication workshops. Jason’s expertise ensures that our projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Jasper Strydom
Jasper is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience spanning 34 years in the steel construction industry. He holds certifications as a Unisa Certified Project Manager and is accredited as an Assessor by MERSETA for a wide range of unit standards. Jasper’s career has seen him progress from artisan roles to leadership positions such as Site Foreman, Site Supervisor, Construction Manager, and Project Manager for major construction companies. His extensive experience in overseeing greenfield projects and maintenance across industries including power generation, sugar, pulp, and petrochemicals ensures that Jascon Steel Works operates with efficiency and expertise.
